tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-81704182513273203522012-02-16T12:51:26.546-08:00Zach Jexhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15857689927249022136noreply@blogger.comBlogger71100tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8170418251327320352.post-2276651333105774092010-07-22T14:06:00.000-07:002010-07-22T14:29:39.398-07:00I have not updated this blog in a while because the <a href="http://www.blogger.com/www.gamedaymap.com">GamedayMap</a> project has been in a sort of lull for the past couple months.<br /><br />However, things are rolling again, and we are currently in negotiations with a pair of application developers in Jackson, Mississippi to transition GamedayMap from an online to a mobile platform. <a href="http://www.dreamlogicdevelopment.com/">Dream Logic</a>, a development team, and <a href="http://msbusiness.com/blog/2000/08/company-ceo-discusses-mississippians8217-tech-future/"> John Spivey</a>, CEO of Vention, also an application development company, hope to partner with Wyatt's Torch, LLC to bring GamedayMap to the iPhone and the Droid sometime this Fall. If a big-name company can be found to back the development and marketing of the application, which John believes is a real possibility, GamedayMap could expand significantly and reach a much larger audience very quickly. We are certainly excited about the interest these companies have shown in helping develop GamedayMap, and we thank them for the hard work they have already put in to making this dream a reality.<br /><br />We'll keep you updated! The picture on the right will show you the default location of the icon.</div><div><br /></div><div>I have noticed that some users have forgotten to drag their Tailgate icon, and there are a couple of tents bunched on top of one another. Do we need to make the Tailgate icon more noticeable on the editing screen? If so, please leave a comment on this post. I hope those of you who used it for the Homecoming game found it easy to use. We've already gotten requests to add other schools, and I promise we are working on it. LSU will be the next map that is added, followed my Alabama and Mississippi State. To "attend" a tailgate, you <b>must be signed in first</b>. Otherwise, <a href="http://gamedaymap.com">GamedayMa</a>p will not know who you are. If you are a Facebook user, you can simply click "Facebook Connect", enter your Facebook password, and you are signed in to <a href="http://gamedaymap.com">GamedayMap</a>.
